Being a breeder isn’t for everyone—it’s a full-time, year-round commitment, and when puppies are here- it’s a round-the-clock commitment. For us it’s a labor of love.
We are a family with a big passion for animals and for Fox Red English Labradors in particular, and we’re proud to produce some of the finest-quality pups you’ll find anywhere in the US.
But we didn’t get here alone. We’re incredibly grateful to the devoted breeders who came before us, pouring their hearts into preserving and improving the English Lab for generations and especially the Fox Red Labrador. This beautiful butterscotch-red shade was the first registered yellow lab by the British Kennel Club in 1899, in a world where black Labradors dominated. Unfortunately, due to trends at the time it fell out of vogue as breeders focused on producing lighter and lighter yellow Labradors. Thanks to the dedication of breeders across the US and abroad we get to carry on the legacy of these beautiful dogs.
Every year, we work hard to raise exceptional English Labradors and to place happy, healthy Lab puppies into loving homes across America. It’s a joy and a privilege to be a part of raising your family’s new bundle of joy.

The cost of a top-quality Labrador Retriever in the U.S. can vary quite a bit depending on several factors—things like pedigree, the breeder’s reputation, location, how extensive the health testing is, and the level of care and support the breeder provides.
Before choosing a breeder, it’s so important to do your homework—read reviews, check the appropriate health clearances are completed, and get a feel for the people behind the puppies and the experiences your pup will have in the first formative weeks of their life. After all, this isn’t just about bringing home a puppy—it’s about finding the right fit for your family for years to come.
“Where will you be in 10 to 12 years?” Our aim is simple: that your Escalante pup is still right there with you—healthy, happy, and very much a part of your life. Our English labs are more than just companions—they become your best friend, your hiking buddy, your child’s pillow, and your heart dog. And that kind of relationship starts with the right beginning.
For a top-quality, limited AKC-registered English Lab, you can typically expect to invest $3,500+. While that may seem like a lot, the difference in a poorly bred and socialized puppy is very quickly apparent soon after bringing them home.
Many responsible breeders go above and beyond by offering:
Comprehensive health testing on both parents (hips, elbows, eyes, heart, and genetic panels)
A health guarantee
Early socialization and enrichment programs
Personality and temperament testing to help match the right puppy to the right home
- Potty and Crate Conditioning before leaving the breeder
- And ongoing support throughout your dog’s life
That extra level of care, commitment, and guidance makes a big difference. If you feel a different breeder is a better fit for your family be sure to check that the recommended health clearances by the LRC (Labrador Retriever Club) have been completed to help ensure you’re getting a happy, healthy pup that’s been thoughtfully and ethically raised.
We’re proud to support those who serve. As a small way of saying thank you, we offer a discounted rate to Military, Law Enforcement, and First Responders.
Giving back is a big part of who we are. That’s why we donate 25% of our profits to nonprofit organizations making a meaningful impact—both in our local community and around the world.
One of the organizations close to our hearts is Gideon Rescue Company,* a volunteer-run nonprofit that’s been bringing hope and healing to disaster zones since the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Whether it’s responding to hurricanes here in the U.S. or earthquakes and conflict abroad, they’re often among the first to arrive.
Their team brings more than just practical aid—with skills in K9 search and recovery, boat and water rescue, and crisis intervention—they also bring prayer, compassion, and the powerful message of the Soon Coming of Jesus. They’ve even served on the frontlines of the Russia-Ukraine war, offering hope to those facing incredible hardship.
We’re honored to support the life-changing work they’re doing and grateful to play even a small part in their mission.
*Due to the sensitive nature of some of their missions GRC does not maintain a large internet presence.
